All four flats are situated within the estate Brandis, underneath the ruins of the old "Castle Brandis", located at the southern outskirt of the village Lana which is close to Meran. The ruin with its mighty tower, the new Castle Brandis errected 1804 and the estate are witnesses of the very old and considerable history from the old
family of the Counts Brandis, who live here since 1153. Parts from the wine-cellar of the estate desceed from the 13 century.
One apartment is situated in the so-called "Alte Mühle". This old mill is a small, enchanting house served as accommodation to the miller not too far long. The apartments Schloßraut, Schmiedacker and Schöberle got their names after vineyards. All three flats are situated in the socalled administrator-house of the estate.
Each flat has a magnificent sight, utmost comfort, elegant furniture arranged by the lady of the manor. She personally furnished and understood to give each flat warmth and country elegance. A tiny, dreamy, cornered court-yard connects the old mill with the administrator`s house. The garden is at guests disposal. A five minutes drive distance there is a large public swimming pool in Lana. Benefit from the opportunity in the near: use the new, marvellous 9 holes Golf Course, Golf Club Lana "Gutshof Brandis". You will find your account also culinary. At the estate you have the choice: either to degustate our wines in combination with specialities of the region in the vault of the "Alter Brandis Weinkeller" or over-indulge in the sporty-elegant restaurant with superior and sophisticated meals at our club-house.
